Trail Overview
This 4.8-mile out-and-back trail takes you from the Chiwawa River Valley up to the Phelps Creek Trailhead. This trailhead is very popular with the backcountry hiking community, with over 100 miles of hiking trails. You can take this trail up to the trailhead for a day hike or get a backcountry permit and enjoy multiple days in the Glacier Peak Wilderness area.
