Left Elk Camp early morning. Conditions were dry, pin stripping is still an issue, decent into valley was relatively easy. One tight area, 20 feet, that barely fits a vehicle with a 7 feet drop off to the left. Further on, decent into valley was easy, climb out was relatively easy with tires aired down and lockers on; a bit of mud on the way up and a large boulder on the right which hit the frame going over. After that a few off-camber areas that you will need to choose wisely, friend got stuck here awhile ago. The top of the trail dusty, large rocks and slow travel. Besides those sections mentioned, a good route in or out while there is no rain. Otherwise, I would pick another route.
