Trail Overview
Smoothing Iron Trail is a well-maintained approximately 10-mile trail. The primary ground cover is a mix of dirt and small loose gravel and the trail starts at approximately two car widths and narrows down to one. There are multiple areas of potholes and ruts on this trail, some deeper than others, all relatively easy to navigate with minor bypasses on the trail. There are gorgeous meadow-like fields, and some narrow atv trails (at the time of reporting most of these were gated and gates were closed).

Difficulty
I rated this a level 2 as there are some rutted spots where I believe they were near or potentially slightly beyond 12 inches, however, the primary trail is relatively flat compact dirt. The deep rutted sections are easily avoidable as well.
