Trail Overview
Tahuya is a great park for newcomers to get their feet wet and has a wide variety of trails for any skill level. Trail 55 would be a great trail to try once you get an idea of what your vehicle's capabilities are and a good understanding of where your wheels are when you are going over obstacles. As always, if you are unsure, get a spotter to help. This trail is a two-way trail that typically has a higher traffic level but does have multiple spots to pull over and let groups by. The trail is about 1 mile long and will take about 45 minutes to complete. The majority of the obstacles on this trail are rock crawls with a bypass for each one. the rest of the trail consists of deep holes that may exceed your vehicle's axle flex and cause you to three-wheel. This trail is a lot of fun and you will not be disappointed.
