Trail Overview
This is a great beginners' trail and still fun for novices. It follows a little bit of the creek and has a nice little spot to have a quick snack while sitting next to the creek. This will lead to other trails that lead into the capitol forest and also lead into East Waddell Basin Trail and back to the staging area. This trail stays pretty well maintained but some of the trails can wash out because of the creek.

There are some pretty big ruts and has some areas that the creek flows down the trail. This is either dirt and dust in the summer and fall and winter is mud and some clay.
