Trail Overview
Michigan Creek Road - FS 2134 is a great trailhead into the eastern portion of the Nicolet National trail system. It is also a great access road to venture into the Marinette County trail system. The southern end of this trailhead can be accessed to the northeast of Blackwater. This trail is primarily gravel, with winding corners, it has okay to good sight lines. Trail width is anywhere from one and a half to two vehicles wide. The terrain is a good mix of rolling hills and long flat straights. Views are excellent atop some of the hills. Views into the surrounding forests are also excellent, as they have been select cut. This can allow for excellent views of wildlife in the forests and on the trail. There are also a couple of campsites situated on the northern end of this trail. These campsites are located directly off the trail, as well as adjacent to the Peshtigo River.

Difficulty
This trail can be easily conquered by riders of all skill levels. Sight lines are okay to good throughout the entire trail. The trail is well maintained and features no low areas or mud holes, as well as no large ruts or other obstacles that will need to be traversed. This trail can become dusty at times. Caution will need to be taken as dust can impair the visibility of the trail ahead.
