Trail Overview
An easy trail through wide-open prairie land that seems to stretch to the horizon. Pronghorn, coyote, and rabbits are often seen. Cell service is spotty but available in more than 50% of the trail. Sunrise and sunset are the best times on this trail as the landscape really comes to life in the golden hour. The midday sun is intense and there is no shade. There is a portion on the north end of the trail that passes through an easement on private property. Do not go off the trail in this section.

Difficulty
This route is primarily a 2-lane gravel road. The road is passable by most any 2WD vehicle in dry weather, however, portions of the road are not maintained after rains or snow and can become very muddy. Travel is not advised when muddy as the mud can get quite soft.
