Trail Overview
This begins as logging roads and then switches to a two-track up a very long, steep grade into a bowl with a shallow water crossing. With a very small amount of moisture, the bowl becomes impassable without a high-lift vehicle. The beginning and end of the loop are well-maintained but the mid-section is a significantly rougher ride. There are many off-shooting trails and loops that can be accessed from this loop and numerous camping locations along the way. Do not be surprised if you meet some moose, elk, or deer along the way. Many varying terrains and landscapes along the loop make this a very fun sightseeing tour.
