Trail Overview

The east end of this single track starts at an intersection with the Hockett Gulch trail, then immediately climbs up to the top of the surrounding hills. It continues similarly to The Maze Trail where it winds around the pinyon pine trees with lots of tight curves. It dumps out onto a power line road and follows the power line trail for about 100 yards, then starts climbing the hills again to meet up with the Plunge Trail (8385 C). The trail keeps winding on top of the ridgeline with some rockier sections and a particularly rocky loose downhill. The west end of the trail pops out of the trees into a play area with small hill climbs to play around on. The trail ends in this play area, but you can easily connect to the Star Wars trail to continue your ride. This is a popular riding area and you will likely see other groups of riders in this area. As this trail system is close to town, the system gets more use on both weekends and weekdays. Ride this trail in connection with the Plunge for a more challenging ride.
