Trail Overview
This very rocky one-lane forest road leads up and over Skinner Ridge in the Kaibab National Forest. If you take this trail from a North-to-South direction, you'll encounter a long gentle downgrade that weaves down the ridge through the Ponderosa and Pinon Pine. Along your way, you might encounter cattle grazing, elk, and the beautiful destruction of a large pine recently struck by lightning. You'll encounter no obstacles over 12" on this trail with some mud ruts and rocks along the way.
