Trail Overview

Table Mesa Road provides primary access to the Table Mesa Recreation Area and its network of OHV trails. It is primarily a washboard gravel road, though washouts and ruts can be present on occasion. While Table Mesa Road accesses several alternative trail options, it will eventually lead to a gated area in which users are prohibited from continuing on. You may hear this route referred to as West Table Mesa Road. For those seeking the Jeep Badge of Honor regarding Table Mesa Road, this is the trailhead you are looking for, though many regard New River Road as the route intended by Jeep, often referred to as East Table Mesa Road. There are several dispersed camping opportunities in this area, making it a great option for weekend trips, or a stop-in route while overlanding the area. Leave no trace, and pack out what you pack in.

Did this trail for a Jeep Badge of Honor... this was more like a Badge of Horror... it's a dirt road... that leads to the local "Dump" I say dump because people come out and dump their trash to shoot a couple of rounds at then leave it there... and Irregardless of the MANY signs that say not to shoot at or near the livestock or buildings the 12 or more slaughtered cows and calves in the "shooting" pits was plenty of horror... We will not be back to this "trail"

Felt like a dirt road driving through a blend of a shooting range and a dump. Gate to lake pleasant park was closed, so this was a waste of time.
