Trail Overview
This mellow, rolling road is a far cry from powerline roads found in urban areas. While it gently rolls through the edge of the juniper and mixed pine forest of the Coconino Plateau, this single-lane road crisscrosses a few ravines. It provides interesting views of the marriage between the trees of the forest and the undergrowth and sage that the plateau has to offer. While there are no obstacles on this trail, you might be on the lookout for cattle and elk grazing near the trail, as well as downed trees.
