Trail Overview
This short out and back is moderately difficult with some deep washouts and a few off-camber rutted-out sections. The trail scenery is lovely and scenic as it passes through meadows and juniper forests. At the end is the edge of Hell Canyon and the hiking trailhead for Kings Spring. At the time of recording, water could be heard flowing below, and the rock formations of the canyon were spectacular. It could be well worth the hike down. There were no noticed camping spots, and the end of the trail has open areas that are pretty significantly sloped. 1 bar LTE cell service.
