Trail Overview
Black Rock Gulch Rd-BLM1009 is a point-to-point 19-mile trail rated 3 of 10. The trail starts at the Black Rock I-15 exit in Arizona. The trail runs north to south and parallels the Black Rock Gulch and offers scenic views of rock cliffs and deep canyons. The trail can be run in either direction and is typically run in conjunction with Black Mountain Road-BLM1004 and Black Rock Mountain Road-BLM1022 for a loop around Low Mountain. The trail is an unmaintained high desert track used by the BLM for land management. This trail may be closed by the BLM during winter months if road conditions deteriorate or become impassable.
