Trail Overview
This dirt road will lead you through the northernmost area of the Ghost PLUZ, through logging and pipeline areas along the Red Deer River, and all the way to Highway 40. Depending on the time of year, the road conditions vary from a few potholes and puddles to deep ruts and slippery mud. Take in the views of rolling hills, quiet rivers, lots of ATV and dirt bike trails, as well as wild horses and cattle. The trip down Stud Creek Road always impresses with beautiful forest views.

Difficulty
The road can get pretty rough for vehicle travel if you are not driving a 4x4 or a high-clearance vehicle. There's slippery mud after rainfall with some deeper ruts up to 8 inches deep. There are multiple steep hilly sections that have a blind crest.
