Trail Overview
Mara Lookout is located Northeast of Enderby and starts on a standard well-maintained gravel road with minimal bumps and ruts. As you get further up the road, you can take several different offshoots that are less maintained. The mapped-out trail will take you to the Fire Lookout on the top. However, we were not able to make it to the top due to areas of deep snow. There are views from all around, from the North Okanagan region to the Kootenay's. The road becomes more challenging, with rocky and bumpy sections that some might consider technical but definitely doable in a 4x4 high clearance rig.
