Trail Overview
Buffalo Ranch Road is mostly a maintained dirt road. It passes through a patch of a deep sandy area that can get vehicles stuck. But it's nothing a high clearance 4x4 can't handle. When you make a left turn on BLM 237, the trail is single-vehicle-wide all the way to the Grand Canyon. BLM 237 can get rocky but has nothing technical. Just like any trail, weather can change conditions really fast. There are a few spots from the start of the trail to the Grand Canyon where flash floods have made it impassable. Check weather conditions before heading out or wait a few days after heavy rain.
