Trail Overview

The trail from the road to Playa Colonet begins with a smooth, flat stretch that skirts a distant view of the local landfill. As you progress, the terrain transitions into a mix of old and new SCORE off-road race trails, offering a variety of surfaces, from smooth to rocky and silty. For this route, it's essential to air down your tires, ensure your vehicle has high clearance, and pay close attention to wheel placement, as the trail includes steep ascents and descents. The journey winds toward Highway 1, with breathtaking views of colorful mountains and canyons. Along the way, you may encounter local wildlife, such as rattlesnakes and roadrunners. Difficulty
