Trail Overview
The 107 Road is wide and beautiful, with an open prairie to the South and a forest of towering Ponderosa Pines to the North. There are plenty of places to pass, stop, and turn around on this road, as it serves as an access road to the area for hunters, recreationists, or just people looking to get out of the city for a nice drive through the country. The road intersects with the famous Beale Wagon Road, a historical route that goes from Ft. Smith, AR to the Colorado River. Along this road, there are no obstacles, other than the occasional mud puddle or rut. The wildlife that might be seen along this road include Elk, Deer, Antelope, Cattle, Coyote, Turkey, and various other bird species. There is no cell service in the area, so offline maps are recommended.
