Trail Overview
Trail 128E is a one-lane mostly dirt trail. At times this trail will cross rock gardens with many large and loose rocks. There are numerous wash crossings that have off-camber sections as well as steep entrances and exits. There are mud ruts, as well as erosion with significant damage/washouts along this trail. There is a hill climb that consists of large loose rocks and ledges. There is no service in this area so offline maps are recommended. This area is popular with hunters, and there are scattered campsites with primitive fire rings, mostly at each end of the trail. If you do decide to have a fire, don't forget to check local forest and county regulations as this area is prone to large and uncontrollable wildfires.
