Trail Overview

This is an easy wash trail through the northern Arizona desert for 1 mile for ATVs and dirt bikes. It's unmarked on the north entrance, and veers off of Little Black Mountain Road 1124 into a narrow, gravelly, and rocky wash. It's flat, without obstacles, and goes through many bushes, then goes into a much wider gravelly wash. Near the south end, it splits into a narrow wash with soft dirt and tall dirt walls. The trail parallels the 1124 road the entire way. It has several unmarked splits in the wash. If you are heading to the Little Black Mountain Petroglyph Site on an ATV or dirt bike, you might as well take this trail instead of the road for a more interesting ride. The petroglyph site is a cool side stop to check out, with over 500 petroglyphs to see over a short walk.
