Trail Overview
The 209Y trail is a rocky, rutted trail that has numerous spots of erosion and water damage. This trail cuts through the Juniper Trees and scrub brush of this area of the landscape of Northern Arizona. This trail is one-lane, with few spots to turn around or pass, so please TREAD LIGHTLY if you must go off trail. There are no major obstacles on this trail, but there is also no cell service, so offline maps are a must in this area. This is a super remote area but is traveled by hunters, so don't be surprised if you see a few people off in the surrounding areas. Along this trail, you might see elk, antelope, deer, coyote, and various bird species.
