Trail Overview
The 230q trail is mostly a letdown. You'll start right by the Pleasant Valley Cabin. Here there is an old cabin, corral, outhouse, and grounds. It's an interesting area and great for a stop to walk around that end of Pleasant Valley. The trail itself is narrow, with some room to turn around. It's mostly dirt, with downed trees across the trail in multiple places. The trail runs through a dense forest of pine and aspen trees, and by the looks of it, hasn't been used in quite a while. The part of the trail that heads north at the split has been completely reclaimed by nature. Extensive tree work has been done in the area, with debris all over the trail; it's slow-going so no limbs pop up into the undercarriage. The area has some go-arounds that have been tracked around the downed trees, but it's not really worth exploring as the trail itself becomes reclaimed and does not continue.

Difficulty
This is an unmaintained trail surrounded by dense forest and has many downed trees near or across the trail. The trail may become more hazardous during the monsoon season or after a rain event. Because it's surrounded by dense forest, there's not much room for going around or passing other vehicles.
