Trail Overview
Most of this trail is in loose, sandy, gravel washes. There are very tight and narrow sections with overgrown desert bushes that will cause paint damage. The trail picks up from the Turtleback Tank, where there are several other trails to explore. The trail is twisty and has a few transitions to get into and out of the washes. One hill is quite dug out, and the transition is steep to get up with loose traction. The trail ends at Trail 9059, which is another wash. It gets pretty tight and narrow as it gets close to the 9059 trail, and there is one pinch point with a large rock wall sticking into the trail to navigate around. This spot could prove a challenge for wider vehicles. This area gets hot in the summertime, with temperatures over 100 degrees. The best time to travel out here is springtime. Bring extra water and supplies if you are exploring during the summer months. There is no cell service in this area. Be sure to download offline maps.
