Trail Overview
This trail is a far more direct and better route from the O'Haco Tank trail. It allows larger vehicles to avoid taking the off-camber bypass route. This trail features fun dips and climbs with a few tight turns and slightly off-camber sections. Alternatively, there are a few campsites to choose from and a wildlife water collection area. The plant life is incredibly dense with cholla and saguaro forests, ocotillo scattered around, and palo verde and ironwood trees. With a keen eye, you'll see roadrunners, quail, and vultures. There are also jackrabbits and cottontails running around. Overall, it's a nice trail that isn't too narrow and is a far better route out of/into the area than the new bypass route to the east and north. Three Verizon 3G bars fade in and out. Be prepared for the desert and bring plenty of water and supplies when venturing into this area.

Difficulty
This trail is rated a three for the slight off-camber rutted sections. There are a few short hill climbs and descents with loose rocks and flexy sections that will stretch your suspension a little.
