Trail Overview
This is an awesome technical descent down into the Hassayampa River and a spur trail off of the Sidewinder Trail through the Wickenburg Mountains. The entry to the trail and first 200 feet seem smooth, but don't be fooled. There are two very rough portions: the main climb down with several washouts, and a very rough boulder canyon once you hit the canyon fork. This trail will give you access to the river but is located on state trust land, so a permit is required. It is very challenging and will scrape and scratch your vehicle, so armor and clearance are required.

Difficulty
Expect large boulders and rough washouts throughout. It's short but not frequently traveled, so the road has deteriorated. Armor, clearance, and large tires are a must.
