Trail Overview
Bumper Breaker is at times, narrow enough to cause paint damage to your vehicle, as the trail is lined with thorny plantlife that are waiting for you to come by so they can leave their mark. There are multiple wash crossings and washout situations along this trail, as well as significant water damage and erosion. Most, if not all, of the wash crossings have short, steep entrances and exits that could potentially damage your vehicle, specifically your bumpers, due to the approach angles. (Ask me how I know!) At the Western end of the trail, there is a large staging area and even a picnic table, should one want to sit and think about their lives.

Difficulty
This is a narrow, unmaintained trail that has multiple wash crossings, erosion, and significant water damage. Washouts in the trail present challenging features. There is little to no cell service in this area, so offline maps are recommended. There are few places to pass and/or turn around, so remember, if you must leave the trail, to please TREAD LIGHTLY as this environment is fragile and is prone to lasting damage.
