Trail Overview

The Bullard Wash South trail is a wash trail and can be used and and access or exit to the Fenceline Runout Trail, as well as possibly other intersecting trails in the area. A pretty standard wash trail for Arizona, it has some spots of deep, soft sand, rock garden areas, choke points due to vegetation growth and debris. Along most of this trail, 3-5 foot high cliff edges have been carved into the landscape by the moving water. There are no significant obstacles on this trail, and there is little cell service, so offline maps are recommended. As always in desert environments, this trail has the potential to flash flood. Please check local and surrounding weather as flash floods are hazardous and potentially lethal.

Difficulty

This is an unmaintained wash trail. It is in the nature (literally) to be changed repeatedly by weather and water. Potential of rocks and ledges to be exposed, as well as other hazards. As always in flash flood prone areas, caution is urged.
