Trail Overview
Connell Seep is an interesting trail. It starts as a wide dirt trail that meanders through a beautiful healthy forest of ponderosa pines. It narrows as it wanders around rock outcroppings of large granite boulders. This trail is fraught with narrow turns and downed trees, as well as tight trail choke points of large rocks in the trail. The major obstacle is a hill climb with boulders and a couple of shelf areas that might prove challenging during rain or snow. The further you go, the more challenging it gets, with paint damage guaranteed in some of the tighter areas. The trail eventually narrows to an ATV/moto trail that is impassable to larger vehicles. There is no cell service in this area of the Prescott National Forest, so offline maps are a must.
