Trail Overview

This trail connects Desert Valley Road to numerous BLM trails and to the Vekol Wash, which are popular 4x4, SxS, and horse riding areas. One of the southern forks also leads to The Waterfalls Trail through some very winding and picturesque terrain. There is good cellular coverage throughout most of this area.

Difficulty

This is a beginner level route leading up to the Vekol Wash, which is a bit more complicated. There is one mild off-camber spot towards the eastern end which requires caution and could be problematic if you come into it unexpectedly with speed.

Access Description

Take Miller Road to its west end, turn left, and then turn right on Desert Valley Road. The parking and staging area is at the end of Desert Valley Road. There is enough space to park several trailers or numerous vehicles as well as turn around. The trail entrance sometimes has a 15-inch drop due to water erosion.
