Trail Overview
The Dog's Knob Go-Around is a one-lane dirt trail with a beautiful high-plateau view as it goes around Dog Knobs. This trail is easy, with no obstacles on it. There is sparse to little cell service in the area, so offline maps are recommended. There is a chance of mud ruts and puddles on this trail, especially during monsoon season, so please plan accordingly. This area is popular with hunters, so there are a few sporadic primitive campsites with rock fire rings around. Please check local county fire restrictions as this area is windy and dry for most of the year and is prone to large wildfires.
