Trail Overview
Ebert's Secret starts in a pasture on a plateau that provides views of the surrounding mountains and fields. This section of trail is dirty and dusty - pretty typical of the cattle grazing areas that are in this area of the Kaibab National Forest. As you work your way up through the trees, the trail turns more rocky, with mud ruts and a gradual hill climb. The trail culminates in a hilltop plateau meadow open range area that is nothing short of beautiful. There is no service on this trail, but also no major obstacles, so take your time and enjoy yourself. Along this trail, you might see cattle, prairie dogs, elk, deer, and antelope.
