Trail Overview
This trail is a nice loop that passes by the active Fancher mine. Be aware it's private property, and there are armed guards. The section leading to the mine is wide, easy, and graded. Once past the mine, there are frequent washouts and tight corners. Many great camping spots with fire rings are all along this trail. They feature flat, level spots, each with its own unique views. There are plenty of cacti, from massive saguaros to spiky ocotillos and the fuzzy Cholla. The trail is wide overall, so don't expect paint damage, but sharp rocks can puncture a sidewall easily. There is no service out here, and it's the desert, so pack accordingly with plenty of water and fuel, and remember to pre-download your offline maps.
