Trail Overview
FR 219b is a narrow, one-lane trail through a very dense section of the Kaibab National Forest. There are no obstacles on this trail, but that doesn't mean there are no hazards. Because of the dense forest of pine in this area, many trails have been blocked by trees (this trail included). It's wise to carry a large handsaw or even a chainsaw with you. There is no service on this trail, so offline maps are essential. This particular trail has been blocked by a downed tree, as evidenced in the photos.
