Trail Overview
This trail starts laid back and easy, then turns rockier with a few small hills halfway through. The total distance on this trail is 7 miles and takes you through Arizona State Land at the beginning and then onto Prescott National Forest, which is marked by the first gate fence. There are two gates, so please close them behind you. The first half of this trail has cell service but the second half does not. This trail will get much more difficult after any precipitation. The terrain around this trail is rolling desert hills with cacti and scattered yuccas. There is possible paint damage if you aren't careful of overgrown cat claw on the trail. Camping is allowed on this trail. Arizona State Land requires a permit but Prescott National Forest does not.
