Trail Overview
This trail is a one-lane dirt trail that has some of the most beautiful views of an area that is seldom seen this close up. It runs along a ridge and saddle, with views both to the North (toward the Navajo Reservation and Grand Canyon) and to the South (with views of the San Francisco Peaks) outside of Flagstaff, Arizona. There are no obstacles along this trail, but also no cell service, so offline maps are recommended. There is water damage and erosion along this trail, some of which will put your vehicle off-camber, but nothing too major. This area of the Coconino National Forest is seldom visited, except by hunters and ranchers, as this is a popular area for cattle grazing, so keep an eye out for the odd bovine in your path. This trail may also serve as a connector trail from the Kendrick Park trail to the Aso Ranch Trail, both of which are major main arteries of this forest. Along this trail, you might see elk, deer, antelope, coyote, and various bird species.

Difficulty
This is an unmaintained one-lane dirt and rock trail. No major obstacles exist, though this area does get shaped by the monsoon rains and heavy moisture events year-round. There are some areas of erosion and water damage along this trail. There are places to pass and/or turn around, but as always, if you must leave the established path, please remember to TREAD LIGHTLY as this area is fragile and is susceptible to prolonged damage.
