Trail Overview
This is a short dirt bike trail in the Hieroglyphic Mountains northwest of Phoenix, Arizona. The west end is accessed by a road coming out of the wash. The trail heads up into the desert hills on a narrow single-track between tons of cacti. It's more gradual in the beginning and more fast and flowy, but the climb up into the mountains is steep and loose, with embedded rock, and will be a decent challenge for newer riders. It stays on the ridgeline the whole time, paralleling the wash, with great views and some faster sections. It gains a couple hundred feet in less than a mile. The east end ends at a two-track going both north and south. Since this trail is on Arizona State Trust Land, it requires a recreation permit that you can obtain online.
