Trail Overview
This is a great little side trip from Hot Wells to Bowie. There are some technical spots, but it's mostly a pretty easy drive in the SxS and can be done in 4x4 vehicles with ground clearance. There are signs on the Hot Wells side that tell you to stay on existing trails since you are on BLM land. There is a small section of private property you cross, but it appears they allow access because the fence follows the road. Please stay on existing trails to keep our lands open. If you take this trail, you will see where some people have ignored the signs--hopefully, access is not lost because of these people. It's a beautiful trail and it's be a shame to lose it.

Difficulty
There are a couple dry water crossings where the road gets washed out. For the intermediate to experienced driver, this is not a problem; just drive on through. Some beginners may be a little bit intimidated, but with the right spotter it won't be a problem. A couple areas get tight with shrub/brush for large vehicles. If you don't mind Arizona pinstriping you're all good.
