Middle Red Raven Wash

Trail Overview

This middle section of red Raven wash features fast, broad sandy sections, slow rock gardens, and a few steep off-camber drop-offs that will filly flex out your suspension. There are outstanding opportunities for wildlife watching with red-tailed hawks, owls, and even the occasional Buck running along the wash with you. Airing down tires is a must for the deeper sand sections. Some areas have narrow trees where paint damage is guaranteed from the mesquite and paloverde trees hanging over the wash. Be aware of boulders hiding in the soft sand. They could destroy a sidewall or easily dent a wheel. One bar of faint 5G Verizon coverage fades in and out. steep shelves and long soft sandy sections.
