Trail Overview
This rocky loop heads through the hills, past some historic mine shafts and a few spots with rusty artifacts scattered around. There's a surprisingly large number of dispersed camping sites with rock fire rings and all manner of views, from jagged rocky hills to vast valley views. The trail is generally easy, aside from a few rocky off-camber sections and some narrow spots. There are a plethora of side trails to choose from as well. Some lead to old mines, some to camping spots, and some fade into sections where the desert is claiming the land back. Please be sure to let these trails be. There is a cell tower nearby, so the service is generally reasonable.

Difficulty
Some of the washouts need good negotiation to avoid bumper contact. Also, paint damage is possible from the sharp desert plants alongside the trail.
