Trail Overview
Mystery Canyon is a difficult 2.1-mile-long trail on the Utah-Arizona border. It begins off of the East Mesa Overlook Road and runs south, following the base of a canyon. This is mostly a 1st gear trail that features dozens of 2-3 foot ledges and boulders which must be conquered. The canyon is extremely tight and most obstacles have little run-up. There are few, if any, bypasses. At the southern end, the canyon exit is loose and off-camber. If you cannot ride or push out of the canyon, you'll be forced to ride the whole trail in reverse to exit.
