Trail Overview
This NF-246 trail either begins or ends at the 89A main road. It's an easy 2 rating, with a few mud ruts and puddles possible on trail. The northern end has the Jacob Canyon Trailhead. Climbing some of the small hills, you might catch a glance across the forest. Scattered camping and offshoot trails throughout. There are posted signs for "save dead trees for wildlife". The area is closed in the winter months, including the 89A pass.
