Trail Overview
Old 304 Road is mostly a one-lane rocky trail with mud ruts and chalky-dust type dirt mixed in. Weaving through the mixed pine of the Kaibab National Forest, this road has no obstacles, except for the occasional cattle that need to be shooed out of the way and back onto their grazing grounds. There are also Elk and deer in the area. The further south you head on the trail, toward Red Butte, the more scrub brush and fields of undergrowth abound.
