Trail Overview
The Old 72 Road is a mix of rocky and dirt roads that are mellow with no major obstacles. This road is a pleasant jaunt through the towering ponderosa pines of the Kaibab National Forest. There are rudimentary gates along this trail, as this area is active with cattle grazing from May to November, so please close the gates behind you. There is limited cell service in this area, so offline maps are recommended.
