Trail Overview
Tater Canyon is a dust and dirt trail that starts as a narrow not-so-scary shelf road. It goes through a densely forested area into an amazing canyon filled with spacious beautiful meadows. Each end of this trail is rockier than dirt and has erosion, but other than that, you'll experience no other obstacles on this trail. There is minimal to no service on this trail, so you'll need offline maps downloaded. It's a one-lane trail, with minimal room to pass in the trees, but out in the meadows, there's plenty of room. It's important to note that these meadows are protected, so Tread Lightly principles are in full effect--please stay on established paths.

Difficulty
This trail is unmaintained and one lane wide. The meadows are protected, so no driving where there is not an already established path. There are berms in the meadow to act as speed bumps, so keeping your speed low is a given. The dust and dirt might prove challenging if this trail is visited during monsoon season or after a rain event.
