Trail Overview
Grab your bathing suit and paddleboard because Telephone Cove in the Lake Mead Recreation Area is the place to relax and enjoy the water. Both routes--North and South--are wide, maintained dirt roads from the pavement to the parking lots. Both the North and the South have bathroom facilities, dumpsters, picnic tables, and beach access. There are "No Camping" and "No Campfire" signs at both locations. These areas are closed between the hours of 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. Telephone Cove North is the one with the boat launch and larger parking for trailers. Cell service is found in the area. The trail is accessible by plated vehicles.
