Trail Overview
This short but sandy trail up the wash is well worth the side trip. The wash itself has tall rock walls and lots of cactus. Once at the waterfall take a hike through the arch and head back on foot to the waterfall area. Depending on the year and season the amount of water will differ. At the time of recording the trail, the area was mostly dry aside from a small area; livestock seemed to have scratched up to get to the water. Depending on when the trail is run there could be a large pond. Be aware of the monsoon season and the potential for flash floods. Also, see if you can spot the numerous cactuses that seem to grow straight out of the rocks. No cell service in the canyon.
