Trail Overview

This 8.3-mile loop trail takes you into the Hualapai Foothills along the Yellow Flower Creek wash. The trail starts off the Hualapai Foothills trail. There is a lot of overgrowth on the trail and pin-stripping will occur. Several sections cross the Yellow Flower Creek, which is dry most of the year. There are rocks up to 18 inches in height to negotiate. At approximately 2.5 miles into the trail, you will leave the Yellow Flower Creek wash up a short steep climb with loose rocks. Upon crossing the ridgeline, you will drop down into another wash. There are several sections of small rock gardens to negotiate before returning to the Hualapai Foothills trail.

Difficulty

Expect several sections of off-camber travel and short steep climbs with loose rocks. Rock obstacles are up to 18 inches in height.

From Kingman on Andy Devine Road (Route 66), take the Hualapai Foothills Trail. At 10.3 miles, the trailhead is to the left.
