Trail Overview
Baldy Trail branches to the left off of Culver Creek Trail at Thistle Park meadow. It will take you to a meadow with primitive camping. Then, it travels farther up to the Baldy hiking trail and another camp spot. The road does continue past the Baldy trailhead, however, be forewarned it ends abruptly with no real area to turn around.

The Baldy trail should not be driven with full size rigs, 4 door Jeeps. After turning the hard left to get on Baldy the trail becomes narrower very quickly and off camber with a few garbage can sized boulders on the uphill side. we are very expirence d drivers and did not make it to the turn around. I walked to the end and if we had made it there is not enough room to turn 7 rigs around. Thought we might need to back up a half mile. We turned around on the trail, big drop off on the down hill side. Very scary.
