Trail Overview
This is a short intermediate single track in the Danskin Mountain Range with some narrow shelf sections and rock obstacles. Although it's just a short trail that parallels ATV trail #300, this one is fun to ride because it is different than the many ridge line trails in this trail system, and is a fun and challenging shortcut instead of taking the ATV trail. This is a narrow shelf trail that cuts across the bottom of a grassy hillside above a ravine with a creek. There is some exposure here due to being 20 feet above the ravine. The second half of the trail has rock sections with small boulders in the trail that also add some challenges. The trail is not quite as narrow or shelfy when it gets rocky, which keeps it at moderate difficulty. There are some loose rocks and embedded boulders in the trail throughout other sections as well. It goes through a really overgrown wooded section with low branches sticking out. Add this short trail to your ride when connecting trails between the 300s area (Case Creek Staging Area) and the 500s area (Three Point Mountain Trailhead)
